TYPE

TYPE is a typographic publication created in response to the ISTD 2025 Brief ‘Milestones.’ It explores the arrival of computers and how the softwares that followed have shifted the way typography is approached. It abstractly traces typographic milestones throughout the ages focusing on visual representation paired with informative journal publications, balancing the line between the play and the critical through 3 chapters; The Manual, The Mechanical, and, The Digital. This publication aims to emphasise that typography is art, typography is a textural experience, and typography is embedded with intrinsic layers of meaning to the core of its very (constructed) form.
